Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
Reverb Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Streakers mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Phone number — used for account authentication via SMS one-time passcodes (OTP), and to determine whether you are in a region where staking is available. We do not use your phone number for marketing.
- Display name and username — chosen by you during onboarding, visible to other members of your challenges.
- Date of birth — collected once during onboarding to confirm you are 18 or over. We store the date so we do not have to ask again.
- Profile photo — optional, visible to other members.
- Check-in photos and captions — submitted as proof of completing your habit, visible to members of that challenge.
- Messages, comments and reactions — chat messages, comments on check-ins, and reactions are stored and visible to members of that challenge.
- Approximate location — if you allow location access, we use it only to look up the name of a nearby place to attach to a check-in. We request approximate (not precise) location, and we store only the resulting place name — never your coordinates.
- Transaction history — the stakes, forfeits, payouts and withdrawals on your account. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Device token and time zone — used to send push notifications and to work out when your check-in week starts and ends.
- Usage and diagnostic data — screen views and feature usage via PostHog, and crash and performance reports via Sentry. See section 4: this data is linked to your account, not anonymous.
Your contacts stay on your device. If you use the invite screen and grant contacts access, your contact list is read on your phone only, so we can show you who to invite. Contact data is never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you via SMS verification codes
- To confirm you are 18 or over, and that staking is available in your region
- To operate challenges, track check-ins, and calculate forfeits and payouts
- To show your check-ins, messages and progress to other members of your challenges
- To send push notifications about your streaks, challenges and earnings
- To process deposits and withdrawals via Stripe
- To understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes and performance problems
3. SMS Messages
We send SMS messages only for one-time verification codes when you sign in. We do not send marketing messages, promotional texts, or recurring SMS. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We share information only with the service providers that run the app:
- Stripe — payment processing and payouts to your bank
- Twilio — SMS delivery of verification codes
- Apple Push Notification Service — push notifications
- Supabase — data storage and authentication
- PostHog — product analytics. We send your account identifier, phone number and display name so that usage can be attributed to your account. This data is linked to you and is not anonymous.
- Sentry — crash and performance monitoring. Reports include your account identifier so we can trace a specific problem, but we have disabled the collection of additional personal data.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security policies on our database. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can delete your account in the app at any time: Profile → ••• → Settings → Delete Account. Because your account can hold real money, you will be asked to withdraw your balance and leave any active challenges first, so that nothing is left unsettled. Deleting your account removes your personal information and your access to the app.
You can also block another member at any time, which hides their content from you everywhere in the app, and report any message, photo, comment or profile.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. To make any of these requests, email us at dipo@getstreakers.com and we will respond within one month.
You can turn off location access, contacts access, and push notifications at any time in your device settings. The app will keep working without them.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is removed. We may retain a limited financial record of past transactions where we are required to for accounting, tax or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
Streakers is not intended for anyone under 18. We ask for your date of birth during onboarding and do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via push notification.
10. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, or want to exercise any of the rights in section 6, contact us at dipo@getstreakers.com.
