Streakers ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Streakers mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Phone number — used for account authentication via SMS one-time passcodes (OTP). We do not use your phone number for marketing.
• Display name — chosen by you during onboarding, visible to other members in your challenge.
• Profile photo — optional, visible to other members.
• Check-in photos — photos you submit as proof of completing your daily habit, visible to members of your challenge.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Device token — used to send push notifications (streak reminders, payout alerts).
• Usage data — anonymous analytics (app opens, feature usage) collected via PostHog to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is shared with PostHog.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your identity via SMS verification codes
• To operate challenges, track check-ins, and calculate payouts
• To send push notifications about your streaks and earnings
• To process deposits and withdrawals via Stripe
• To improve the app through anonymous usage analytics

3. SMS Messages

We send SMS messages only for one-time verification codes when you sign in. We do not send marketing messages, promotional texts, or recurring SMS. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Twilio — for SMS delivery of verification codes
• Apple Push Notification Service — for push notifications
• Supabase — for secure data storage and authentication

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security policies on our database. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at dipo@getstreakers.com.

7. Children's Privacy

Streakers is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via push notification.
